A private airline will start a daily direct flight from Chandigarh to Goa from February 20, the first from the Chandigarh international airport.
The IndiGo A-320 Airbus will have 180 seats.
The timings are as follows:

As per IndiGo station manager, the one-way introductory fare is between ₹8,000 and ₹10,000 depending upon the time of booking.
The start of the flight will also justify the 24×7 operations of the airport. At present, the first flight arrives at Chandigarh at 6.35 am and the last flight at 10 pm.
Chandigarh will also get direct connectivity to Patna from March 29. IndiGo will operate flights daily to Patna from Chandigarh.
