Post Covid -19 a daily review meeting is held inside the war room at The Secretariat, Sector 9, Chandigarh. On Tuesday April 07, 2020 UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore during this DRM took the decision & made it mandatory for all residents to use a mask or cover the face or mouth with a piece of cloth when at public places.
Number of active Covid cases has come down to 11. This gives credence to the measures taken- curfew & observation of social distancing by residents. The Principal Secretary, Health, was entrusted to prepare a Covid Management plan for the City within the framework of the guidelines issued by the Govt. of India.
