Civil dispensary is on its way to Chandigarh’s Sector 52

Medical attention and cure is always a concerning factor. Putting lights on the city’s health concerns, Chandigarh MC has taken the responsibility to fight against the intense diseases including Malaria, Dengue, and Swine Flu. After examining the intensity of city people, governing body of the city has finally stepped ahead with the foundation of the civil dispensary in the rehabilitation colony in Chandigarh’s Sector 52.

Witnessing the occasion, Member of Parliament, Kirron Kher set the foundation of the dispensary. With the inaugural, Kher also praised the fine efforts of municipal corporation for reflecting and displaying their duties by providing better facilities for the city people.

The MP also applauded the work of civic body for enhancing and upgrading the infrastructural services of primary health in the particular sector and also giving the must needed dispensaries in other areas as well.

She also initiated the required three high-mast lights in outhouse colony area, sector 52. The lights work has been rendered by the MC at a cost of Rs. 15 lakhs.

Necessary details about the project-

  1. Dispensary will be built in 0.35 acre along with the ground floor of about 4016 square feet.
  2. An amount of 85 lakhs will be put to construct the ground floor.
  3. The building will include pharmacist room, doctor rooms, injection room, examination room, ladies and gents toilets (for disabled people), store room, and ANM room.

According to Kher, the city people would be able to receive all the necessary primary health facilities at their doorsteps. In the urge of medical attention, it’s a crucial step for improving the health status of the city from dreadful diseases.
