Treellionaire – A Global Plantation Project Reaches Chandigarh

Chandigarh’s green credentials has made us all proud always. Still planting more trees, taking care of them and preserving our green belt should always figure high on our priority list.
As part of a global project, Treellionaire, Chandigarh Shapers is going to have it’s first plantation drive after which a series of similar events will follow this year. With a vision towards making cities tree-rich and creating an impact by taking care of the greenery installed thereafter, this plantation drive will be organised in IT Park, Panchkula, where technology rules supreme with comparatively lesser green cover.
On 7th AprilSaturday8:00 AM, atleast 20 saplings, arranged from the forest nursery with efforts by Dr. Manu Mengi, a known environmentalist will be planted. This does not end there. Those trees will be adopted by young entrepreneurs of Starthub Nation. Chandigarh’s chapter of Global Shapers is going to spearhead the drive with Starthub Nation.
Here’s a great inspiration for us to plant and adopt trees this summer.
