Time to End Love Affair With The Sun. Brace up for Summers Chandigarh!

Just a few days ago we all had a love affair with the sun. Waiting for it to rise in full bloom, spend hours with it, taking a warm stroll, sipping hot coffee… practically all our lives had come to revolve around it, but now breakup is in the offing.

With soaring mercury in Chandigarh, yesterday was the hottest day of March this year so far and according to the Met department the day and night temperatures are further going to swell in the next few days (upto two degrees expected).

The maximum temperature recorded in the city yesterday was 30.2°C, while the minimum temperature was 15.7°C.

However, Thursday evening might bring some relief with light showers and thundershowers. After that it’s all dry and steamy.

A statement issued by India Meteorological department said that there would be a “gradual rise in day temperatures in the coming days in Chandigarh.”

Be prepared Tricity. Summer’s here!
