Punjab | University, College Exams Cancelled, Ex-servicemen Attempts in PCS Increased

In a Facebook Live session of Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, announced following decisions:

• Number of attempts for Punjab ex-servicemen for taking Punjab State Civil Services (PCS) exams are increased. General category ex-servicemen will now get six chances like others, those in BC category will have 9 and those in SC category will have unlimited chances. 

• University/college examinations in the state are cancelled in view of COVID-19 pandemic though exams currently being conducted online by some universities will continue. Students will be promoted on the basis of their previous year’s results. Those who wish to improve can take fresh exams when COVID-19 is over. Detailed announcement to come in next few days.
