Major Fire in Panjab University

Last night at around 3 am, major fire broke out in the Admin Block of Panjab University. 

Part of the first floor of the administration building, Dewan Anand Kumar Hall, was engulfed by the fire. Part of accounts section records is said to be destroyed. Fortunately, no life was lost.

It took two hours to douse the fire.

The fire affected the Accounts, Grants and Plan sections.
