The Indian Railways has big surprise package running from Chandigarh. 

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation is launching a special train that will run from Chandigarh to Goa and Shirdi. It will also go to Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga and Trayambakeshwar Jyotirlinga.

DETAILS OF THE TOUR PACKAGE

♦ The train will have 11 coaches with around 800 seats.

♦ Journey by second sleeper class train

♦ Accommodation in non-AC dormitories/halls,

♦ Vegetarian food (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

♦ Security on train and tourist buses for visiting sightseeing spots

♦ Facility to upgrade to any category of hotels at a destination on extra cost, conditioned to availability.

 August 19, 2017 at 8 am from Chandigarh Railway Station & return on August 27 afternoon.

Rs. 945 per person per day

The train will reach Goa on August 21 morning and will have a overnight halt there.

Since there is no direct rain connectivity between Chandigarh and Goa, officials are expecting a good response to this package. The inclusion of temples is an added attraction to elder citizens.

ANOTHER TRAIN TO SOUTH INDIA EXPEDITION

The IRCTC is also coming up with another package “Dakshin Bharat Yatra” from October 4. 

The package is 12 days and 11 nights, and cost Rs. 11,340 per person. 

The destinations to be covered are Rameswaram, Madurai-Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kanyakumari, Tiruchirappalli and Tirupati.
