GMCH-32 Halts Walk-in OPDs as Covid Cases Surge in Chandigarh

The outpatient departments (OPDs) at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, have shut down after being reopened three weeks back.

Teleconsultation will be given and patients will be seen physically, if needed

In view of increasing covid cases in Chandigarh, this decision has been taken.

Yesterday, the UT had recorded as many as 122 cases, the highest in the past three months. The number of cases has seen an upward trend since mid-February.
