Brace For Foggy Days Ahead Too, Chandigarh. Trains’ & Flights’ Schedule Affected

For the next three-four days, the conditions will be foggy throughout the Tricity. The temperature will drop further by 2-4 degrees Celsius. This is what has been forecasted by the Met Dept. on Thursday.

On Thursday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 18.2°C. This was four degrees below the normal temperature. Minimum temperature was at 12.6°C, which was six degrees above normal.

Today, the maximum and minimum temperature is expected to be 20°C and 6°C respectively. Right now, the temperature is a chilling 11°C.

Trains were also running late yesterday. Of the 56 trains that had arrival in Chandigarh railway station , 13 arrived late. The trains were Una-Delhi Janshatabdi Express(25 minutes late) and New Delhi-Kalka Shatabdi Express(15 minutes late).

Already Punjab & Haryana High Court has given directions to either increase the number of trains from Chandigarh to Delhi by increasing existing ones’ frequency or introducing new. 

Fog may not dissipate for days now, however we hope the travel woes of travelers from Chandigarh may get solved soon.
